I’m here to start a Listening Movement.
I’m Christine Miles, and I’m on a mission to revolutionize how the world listens.
I’m on a mission to revolutionize how the world listens. Listening isn’t about staying silent, just hearing words, or simply paying attention, it’s about shining a light on what most people can’t see. When we listen to understand, we illuminate the perspectives, feelings, and needs that often go unnoticed. This act of shining a light bridges the gaps between people and makes the invisible visible, not just for others, but for ourselves, too. It’s the most powerful skill we can develop, and it’s where real connection begins, and true success is born.

Christine’s best-selling book, What Is It Costing You Not to Listen?, won the Axiom Business Book Awards' Silver Medal and makes a compelling case for why listening, not speaking, is the key to influence, leadership, and success in today’s fast-paced world.
Christine’s journey is rooted in her personal story. Raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania, she learned to listen deeply as a child—developing empathy for her mother, who silently struggled with depression and anxiety. This early understanding of the unseen pain of others shaped Christine’s life’s work: teaching people the skill that most are never taught—how to listen to understand.
A life-altering injury in her early 30s further solidified this mission. After surviving a car accident, Christine endured years of chronic pain and multiple spinal surgeries. Living with invisible physical pain gave her a profound insight into the isolation that comes when others cannot—or do not—listen. This experience ignited her commitment to create a global shift in how we hear and connect with one another.
